Third generation Hungarian American

Hello.

I am a third generation Hungarian American living in the Midwest section of America.

Most Hungarians are living in Ohio so I do not have alot of Hungarian influence here in Nebraska.

I am learning the Hungarian language just to honour my grandfather, who came here from the Pest side of Budapest as a young man.

I love the language...I have noticed it has alot of this sound...sssshhhh...i.e. szomjas, Ehes, nekem is, spenot, etc. which makes it a very beautiful language.

My grandfather's last name was Takacs...weaver by occupation.

I love your website and will be a new fan for many years to come!!
